El último domingo (1 º MAYO ) estaba nublado, frío y ventoso, muy diferente al año pasado donde había un sol brillante, temperaturas suaves, sin viento. En ciertos momentos cayó como una llovizna fría. No era la condición ideal que se desarrolla al aire libre de la prueba. Pero los corredores de la calle no tienen las dificultades impuestas por el clima. Ellos son superiores a tiempo. Y así fue la 16 ª Media Maratón Internacional de Uruguaiana.
A las 08:30 horas, el Secretario de Deportes y Ocio Majó Vicente Maia, en representación del Alcalde de Uruguaiana, acompañado por su padre José Vicente Braz da Maia, uno de los fundadores de ACORU dio el inicio de este gran evento, de verdad una gran fiesta deportiva. Objeto de dumping frente a los atletas especiales: una silla de ruedas y cuatro personas con discapacidad. Poco después, salir de la Media Maratón y tanto la casa de 9,5 km. Por último, llegó a las categorías: Pre-gallo, gallo y los niños.En la Media Maratón (21,097.5 metros), ha ganado el doble campeón del mundo atleta André Clovis Herter, Runners Club Ijuí, con un tiempo de 1 hora, 08 minutos y 13 segundos (el año pasado lo hizo 01:08:17 ). En segundo lugar llegó Juan Javier Pereira, de SAN JAIME DE LA FRONTERA, Argentina, 3, Wilton Guillena, Rivera, Uruguay, 4 de Plácido Ramos, Santiago y 5, Gerson Rafael Schwantes, Nueva Petrópolis.
En las mujeres, Luciana Beatriz de Lima da Luz, Sant'Angelo, ha ganado el campeón dos veces con un tiempo de 1 hora, 19 minutos y 23 segundos. En 2 ª posición, estaba Ilaina Wandscheer, Itaqui, 3, Ramona Estela Rivelli, Paso de los Libres, 4 º, Marcia Garcia Cavalheiro, Restinga Seca y 5, Ana Berenice Planell Acauan de la Liberación.
